KEY STATISTICS:
  • 6 year old female Shiba Inu
  • 20 pounds
  • UTD, Spayed

  • She wants nothing more than to lean up against you and be loved.

Daria was an owner surrender. From our understanding she had been a puppy mill dog prior to the last owner. He previous owner was not shiba savvy.

Once she trusts you enough, she enjoys being loved and pet. Daria loves daily walks! Daria needs to be crated at night or she will have accidents. Other than those times, she has not had any accidents in our home.

Daria gets along with all male and female dogs. She also gets along with cats.

Daria is very timid but is slowly learning to trust to strangers.

Most shibas are door bolters and care should be taken around doors and other escape routes. Daria, like most shibas, has bolted out of doors before. Daria also hates loud noises and sudden movements. She will attempt to hide.

Daria is a sweet little shiba who has had a very bad past. She wants nothing more than to lean up against you and be loved.

Daria would do best in a home with no small children. She would also be better with someone who has is willing to work with her and take all the time needed for her to learn to trust people again.

The adoption fee for Daria is $300.  Please refer to the MSIR website for more information on the application and adoption process.

  • Upon completion of each positive motivation-based obedience class, MSIR will rebate the new adopters $25.
  • And, upon earning a Good Canine Citizen certificate, MSIR will rebate another $25!

Any one interested in adopting Daria must first complete an adoption application and indicate, in the comments section, their interest in Daria.
The entire adoption process is outlined on our web site. Once the adoption application is received,  Dave will contact you.
